Video won't import on Windows Movie Maker?

In Windows Movie Maker, My Dazzle DVC100 wont "Import from digital video device"?

• When I click on "Import from digital video device" is says,"Import video could not find a compatible digital video device. Verify that the digital video device is properly connected and turned on."

  Hi, BCoop! How is your video device connected to the DVC100? I don't have any experience with the DVC100, but my belief would be that the DVC100 would actually be considered an ANALOG device. Typically, a DIGITAL device would be something like a Firewire direct connect between the computer and camera / VCR. If you don't have the Analog option on WMM, then it sounds like the DVC100 isn't working properly. Access your Device Manager by clicking Start or the Windows Pearl, clicking RUN, and typing "devmgmt.msc" without the quotes to see if it's listed, and if so, how well it's working. Typically, if it's not working, unplugging the device, waiting a few seconds, and reconnecting it may fix the problem. Other than that, you can try reinstalling the drivers from Pinnacle.com.
