How do the Flip Video's work?

Can Flip videos work on vegas studio movie program?

  • I just bought the program and I have a flip video camera, but when i try to put in a video that i have recorded from my flip it just looks like i took a picture instead of the video playing. Other videos with different cameras have worked so far. So is it the Flip? is their any way to use it with this program?

Vegas studio movie program supports AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MOV, WMV, and a variety of still image formats importing. Obviously, it can't work with flip videos. Maybe you can try to convert flip video to the above sony studio supported videos first. There are many flip video converters. As far as I know sony vegas is more friendly to wmv, mpg video formats but not for flip camera mp4 formats. Some avi cannot be imported to vegas studio movie program. So when you try to convert flip video to sony vegas formats, you'd better change flip video to wmv, avi. Recommend you a great flip video converter which is quite easy to use.
