i need to buy a camcorder.. what are basic stores to buy one like bestbuy and sony. And what are used in camcorders? Is it a memory card, a CD or an old tape? is there a such thing as a camcorder with a memory card? thanks!!

Bestbuy, amazon.com, Frys, you might even try Walmart or Target. There are minidv, minidvd, flash drive and hard drive camcorders. Minidv, takes a small cassette tape and needs a firewire connection to download, so your pc needs a firewire card in it. Minidvd, takes a small dvd and in order to download you have to convert the video before you can edit it. Flash drive camcorders use a memory card and are very easy to download with either a usb cord or a card reader. Hard drive camcorders download with a usb cord.
