How do you use Windows Movie Maker after using the flip video camera?

Can you use a video camera as a mic?

• Hello, I'm using Windows Movie Maker for a video project. I have a problem with the narration part, since I don't have a mic. But I've got a video camera, so I'm think if I can use it instead of a mic, because the video camera has a mic on it. But I really have on idea how this is gonna work out. So anyone has any suggestions or experience at this? Please help me! Thank you so much!

  Yes you can use it as a mic, but it won't be the best quality sound you can get. You said it's for the narriration part of the video, so make sure you film/record the audio in a room with no ambient noise, speak clearly, and don't stand to close or far away from the microphone of the camera. Don't stand to the left or right of the camcorder either, stand directly in front of it, so you're getting equal audio on both the left and right side. (if your using stereo sound on your project) Then upload the footage into movie maker, I don't use movie maker, but I'm sure there is a way for you to SPLIT the audio from the video, most editing softwares have this ability. Otherwise, (if it doesn't have that capability or you can't figure it out) If movie maker has TWO video tracks. .Put the one for the audio on the bottom video track, and drop the opacity (visibility) down to zero, and don't do any overlay options.
