How do I import videos from my phone to my computer?

PLEASE HELP :( my computer will only import pictures from my handycam sr11..i need to import all my videos?

  • i need to take all of the videos because my memory if full. :( i have tried going through my computer by i only find the dcim folder and not the root folder and pmb doesn't recognize any new videos that need to be imported..i have triple checked and all the videos are on the handycam. please help i am working of hp windows

    The HDR-SR11 records AVCHD-compressed MTS files. You need a video editor capable of dealing with that format. Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere can. Movie Maker cannot. Windows Media PLayer can't deal with those files, either... but VLC player *might* be able to... The best you can do is copy - not import - the MTS files to the computer. Then, using the camcorder's menu, delete the video files from the camcorder. You will also need a transcorder on your computer to convert the MTS files to something useful... MPEG Streamclip and HandBrake are good. There a re many others out there (most not as good).
