Does Sony Handycam have a USB cable?

Where can i buy a USB cable for Sony Handycam?

  • i need just the USB cable for the Sony Handycam CCD TRV218E. apparently it was supposed to come with the camcorder but it didn't.. thanks :)

    The USB cable looks to be standard - you should be able to find one in any electronics shop or even a decent size supermarket. FWIW, the USB connection is for stills and streaming video but there's no firewire connection - the CCD-TRV218E is a Hi8 camcorder.

FYI the USB cable does not do much good. It can only be used for transferring pictures and will not work for video. This is because the transfer rate with USB is too slow. I suggest you get a firewire cable.
