Flip ultra hd vs flip mino hd?

  • I REALLY want to get a flip camera but am stumped between the two flip ultra hd and mino hd. I want a camera that has good quality, they both say "hd" so it's confusing!

Want the best video quality? Avoid both of those cameras and get a camera that has a MiniDV tape drive for storage media. MiniDV tape cameras have the best video quality as compared to any other video storage format. Get a camcorder with a Mic jack, camcorder microphones do not do well with the audio when recording something or someone more than 5 feet from the camera. But avoid a flip. There are more questions on Y answers about those and video quality than any other camera.

Look in the additional information or whatever you find for them, HD is typically 720p and higher, and the higher that number is is pretty much higher quality.. 1080p is the best cam you'll find.. if they're the same, I'd look at battery life and design to decide further.

Get the Kodak Zi8 or Kodak Playsport they are better than all the Flip Models.
