How can I connect a TCP/IP camera to the PC?

Old Video Camera - Is it possible to connect it to my PC. ??

I came across my old video camera --Sony Handycam 36x Digital Zoom (18x Optical Zoom)..It was bought around 1998 and sadly it does not have any USB Connection. What it does have is normal Video & Audio plugs..so that I can connect it to my Television. Sony camcorders have their model number on the same part of the camcorder where the serial number is - usually on the bottom near the tripod mounting hole. No matter - the RCA jacks you showed telll me it does mono-audio only (that is the black RCA jack). The yellow is for composite (analog) video. I'll guess it is a TRV-series Hi8 camcorder. To transfer video from this camcorder to a computer, your computer needs a TV card with RCA AV-in jacks or an external "Analog/Digital bridge" like http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Dazzle/ or http://desktop.thomsongrassvalley.com/products/videoconversion.php

So I have been doing some research and found this http://www.compusa.com/applications/Sear... I have not tried it yet but based off the reviews it looks good. I would suggest you use an S video cable instead of the yellow composite. I heard you get bettter quality with it. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?... Buy a anolog to digital converter. You Connect your camera's A/V out to it and it transfers it to your PC.
