What HD camera should I invest in?

Best priced HD video camera?

• Hi, i make videos on Youtube and want to buy a better camera. I would like an HD camera but I'm not willing to invest a ton of money on one since I don't know how long I will be making videos for. I'm trying to find the best mid priced model and see if i can find it used. So I would like recommendations on mid to low priced HD camcorders, that will be able to stand up on its own, so that I can sit in front of it (none of the little hand-held cameras they tend to tip over when set down).
