KODAK Camera Video Question?

Capture video on computer from kodak camera?

• Hi for a media project i need to film a music video. well i forgot the camera i needed to use at school and need to use my own digital camera - DX6490 kodak camera. i just wanted to know if i am still able to capture the video on a computer(at school) using a "firewire' as my teacher called it. Its needs to be captured in adobe premiere elements. Or can i just put the memory card in the schools computer and able to access from their to be edited in abode premiere. the thing is the wire that connects to the schools camera wont fit in my camera either.

  digital camera's do not use a firewire connection. Digital CAMCORDERS minidv use a firewire connection, so if you are shooting video on a memory card then yes, you can put the card in the computer and import into your editing program. Note some internal card readers on PC's especially older PC's will not read anything bigger than a 1G card. You can invest in a cheap external card reader and solve that problem.
