Are flip video cameras any good?

Flip video cameras? are they any good?

• im so excited cause i got a flip video camera for my bday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :] i was wondering if anyone has one, and if you do, are they any good? like the quality and such? tell me anything you know about them!!!! thanks!!!

  I have the Flip UltraHD (got as a gift). The most common problem with the Flip camcorders right now is the issue of the camera freezing up and/or won't take a charge, etc. Make sure you charge it fully before you use it the first time (follow the instruction manual). Treat the cam like it's breakable because it is fragile, like all small electronic devices. And keep it dry; electronics and water don't mix well. Always use plenty of light and use a tripod or set it on a static location as that will make your videos look good. Hand-holding is fine for those gorilla shots but use sparingly otherwise your viewers will get sea-sick. Have fun with your new camera. And Happy Birthday!
