Whats a good cheap, mini camcorder?

i just know that the good brands are panasonic, JVC, canon, and sony, but to get a good one you might have to pay a bit of money, i'm currently looking for one to and i was playing with a demo one at a store and it was a $550-$650 JVC one and it was nice, and i want it.
