How to convert Quicktime videos into Movie Maker format?

  • I'm not sure how to convert my quicktime videos into movie maker. Movie maker isn't allowing it. I need a website that can easily convert a video from quicktime into something compatible for movie maker. I do not want to download anything. I would just like that website to do the converting.     As I know Movie Maker support WMV best, I think you can find tool to convert your Quicktime videos to WMV and then add into Movie Maker. MovieMaker likes WMV video files - among a few others. Convert - transcode - the MOV files with something like MPEG StreamClip from www.squared5.com or HandBrake from www.handbrake.fr. You may not *want* to download anything, and that is fine - assuming you already have a capable transcoder. It is likely you don't. Another option is to use a video editor capable of dealing with the MOV files you want to edit (hint: there are none that I know of in the Windows environment).
