Panasonic VDR D150 (8 cm dvd) want to transfer & save video?
-
I was given a panasonic VDR D150 camcorder but I am total novice. It use 8cm dvd(dvd/ram,dvd/rw & dvd/r). I work out how to video onto the 8cm dvd but now if I want to transfer or save the video so can use the 8cm dvd again, what can I do? How to do? Can I use my PC? What do I require? It came with a cable(firewire to usb) but no manual.

Answer:
As long as your pc can read the DVD this works. open the dvd, copy all the files in the TS folder to a folder on your PC once that's done then rename the VOB files to Files "name.MPG" then you can edit them or just store them. up to you. If you don't want to edit them then just copy the files. there is no need to rename them. Good luck RR
