What is the best wired mic to buy for a HMC45 ACCAM HD Camcorder?

I am looking to purchase a mic for my camera, which will be used in corporate commercial for small budget projects. Please let me know what mic is the best quality for the lowest price. Thank you.

There is no single "best mic" and your description of the projects is vague. Shotgun mics work well for certain conditions... you will also want a boom, fuzzy and shock-mount - among other things. Wireless or wired handheld mics work well under certain conditions. A wind screen, mic stand, XLR extension cables and other things will be needed. Wireless or wired lavaliere mics work well under certain conditions... Sennheiser, Shure, Audio Technica and BeyerDynamic all make good mics - some wired, some wireless... Overall, I like Shure and Sennheiser. The HMC45 is the Asian variant of the HMC40. Neither has built-in XLR connectors to use good pro-grade mics - so if you did not get the optional AG-MYA30G then you need that to use "good" mics...
