How do You charge/turn on Sharper Image U Video camera?

well we got a u video camcorder and we cant figure out how to CHARGE/TURN IT ON!! please help! 10 pts. best answer!

i just got this for an xmas present and seeing your question made me open it up right now. its very simple really. if you look at the short instruction book you would easily figure it out. -you don't charge it. it takes 2AA batteries. it has 2AA's in it already but they may be dead so you'll have to replace them. -and the red button is the on/off and record button. hold the button down to turn it on and off (the book says it may take up to 2-3 seconds for it to turn on and off.) and then just press the button (not holding it down) to both start recording and stop recording. its a very easy camcorder to use.
