A problem with my Sony Camcorder.

• so, i was in tennis court today and my cam was with me in my bag, and i finished my match i wanted to film some stuff, and i discovered that the lcd was not working, though the touch in it is working! i can see from the view finder all the stuff that im recording but i want the lcd to work! there is a Camera store near the court so i got there and the camera expert told me that the lcd screen is burned or whatever, and told me i should send it to sony, i got home and checked the sony website trying to find solution, and one of the solutions was reseting the camera, ive reseted it, but it still doesn't work, what should i do? anyone help please !!!!

  Do as the shop said, if you have reset it, then even if you had used the wrong settings they would be back to default. Be careful with send it away because it can cost you as much as a new camera. after the parts and labour. Something you could try is to turn the display through 180 degrees so the it is facing forward, as you look into the lens. it will flip the screen display, maybe that will work if it does then its more of a contact/switch probelm if not it sounds like the shops diagnosis is right.
