How do I choose the right digital camcorder?

I want a digital camcorder and need help choosing one.?

  • Hi everyone... I want to buy a digital camcorder because I have a 7 month old son and I would really love to make some videos of all the new things that he's doing. I have hundreds of pictures and a couple of videos from the Webcam and the digital camera. But I would rather have some good quality videos.. But I don't know how to choose the right camera for me. If anyone out there can help me, please I need you!!: I would like a camera with: - Good quality image. - Be able to make a DVD with the videos. - Be able to upload the videos to my pc. - Not cheap BUT not soo expensive (I have like 13 nieces and nephews and I have to buy lots of gifts for christmas). - And if possible that includes a software for editing. I would really appreciate any help.. please!!! Thanks!

I am looking for a camcorder to buy my boyfriend for Christmas and have been searching for a good one since September. I am on a tight budget so I was trying to find one that is of good quality but also inexpensive. I'm thinking about purchasing one like this, just haven't got around to it yet. It looks small and compact so it will be convenient. It also comes with editing software. Good luck! Also- I don't know if you ever do shopping on ebay but I love it. You can find a lot of things cheaper because people have a bulk amount of them. I have bought appliances, cell phones, and other items off of ebay and they were great. I just wanted to let you know so you're not worried about purchasing off ebay. It's a lot easier if you have a paypal account though.

i just bought my 3 camera and i love it above all the rest it's (AIPTEX) HD i got it from Walgreen's on sale for ??$125.00 and Beyond a doubt it is the easiest to use and has great Resolution this would be perfect for you also it is small and compact. Hope this helps

1 good digital camera I have is the JVC GZ-MG330 it runs about $400 but it makes GREAT DVD's I make DVD's for local bands and I put them on myspace with another digital camera the Flip Video Camera it runs about $150 it is perfect for DVD's also!
