Is there a better alternative to the Flip video camcorder?

How can I edit multiple videos recored by a Flip camcorder into one video on a computer with Windows 7?

I was thinking about buying a Flip HD camcorder from Amazon, so that I could record myself at my prom (which is in a few weeks), but it can only record up to two hours, and my prom lasts 6 hours. I wanted to record multiple videos of my prom and edit them into a 10 minute video so that I can post it onto YouTube. But the question is: How can I edit multiple videos into a single video?

    You can try windows movie maker. It is total free on windows and easy to use. But flip ultra hd cannot suported by windows movie maker. I can recommend you a great flip converter which is also a versatile editor itself. You can download the trial version for evaluation. While, to edit ur Flip videos in Windows Movie Maker on Windows 7, u need to make ur Flip video compatible with it, that's, u have to convert ur Flip MP4 videos to Windows Movie Maker accepted AVI, WMV, MPG, ASF files, and as I know, there is one application that is Flip video to Windows Movie Maker converter which can not only convert Flip videos but edit them as well, have a try when available

With any editing program I have used, once the videos are on your computer, you import them into the program, drag and drop the videos into the time line, add music, transitions and cut or whatever and then burn to a file or dvd. All editing software comes with a HELP section and is very helpful in teaching you how to do what you want to do. I use pinnacle studio.
