How can I save a video?

How can i save video clips in my documents / my videos already edited on Story board using Windows Movie Maker?

• I have cut my video clips into desirable sizes onto the Story board/Time line, but would wish to store or save them as well in another location such as: My Documents or My Videos other than the WMM Project. How can i easily transfer them from the Windows Movie Maker Project? [2] I usually save my edited video clips and save the whole thing as a project, but later when i open up my Laptop, i find only Red Crosses in the place of clips put on the Story board/Time line boxes!! Please, help to enable sort that out. Thank you.

  1 Do a save-as and save them with a different name to where ever you want. 2 Do not move or delete your original captured video. Your project needs to reference these files. If you have them on an external drive then plug in again and you should be OK. Your project will be able to "see" them again. Should be goodbye to red crosses.
