What is a good camcorder for cheap, possibly records HD 1080p?

  • im not looking for a fancy expensive camera, just a good quality one that anyone can get because the one that i have 'can' shoot video, but its all pixelated and i can't edit the footage in after effects because of the pixelation. P.S. yes i edit videos, just like Freddiew, only A LOT more noobish since im starting out

Anything canon is good. Their cameras start at $250. If you want something really cheap you can get an HD flip for around $100. Flips are small, mobile and pretty good quality for the price. Don't fall for any of the cheap crap because it won't be any better than what you have now. When you buy camcorders you really have to shop by brand. There are other good brands, but these are just two I have had good experiences with.

I bought DXG USA DXG-5B1V HD DXG Sportster 1080p HD Underwater Camcorder as a gift for my wife in hopes that it was a great little camcorder for the price. It's supposed to be full 1080P camcorder with underwater capabilities. My wife opened up the camcorder and we instantly charged the battery to see how well it works. After the battery was charged I put it in the camera and wanted to see what we got for the price.
