WIndows Movie Maker doesnt recognize Hard Drive Camcorder(vista)?

I just bought a JVC Everio camcorder and i cant import video onto windows movie maker from it. any advie?

Answer:
I just bought a GZ-MG27U everio and had the same issue. You need to reboot once and make sure camera is set to PLAY. Just use Windows explorer to copy it to your vidoes directory and then you can play it using Windows media player. I can also see it in Movie maker and it plays with sound but NO video. Stumped at this point.
