How do I burn Camcorder Video without a PC?

I just bought a Panasonic HDC-HS9 Camcorder and i need help to burn HD videos onto a normal DVD?

  • I just bought this camcorder and it's really upsetting to me, that i can't just plug it into my PC and burn a DVD. I'm not talking about Blu Ray or Hi Def DVD...i just want it to play on a normal DVD player. I have family that lives all around the world. I'd like to take HD video's of my daughter, burn it to a DVD-R, and send it to the relatives so they can see her. How hard is that? I'm shooting the video at the lowest quality HE 1440 ...(whatever that is)...but i can't burn a DVD. I use Nero Vision, and the video is choppy...someone, please, please help! I'm about to throw this camcorder out the window!!! It's simple...shoot the video...hook it up to the PC...and burn a DVD that can be played in any DVD player. Anyone, anyone?

  • Answer:

Fella, please take it easy, i know how u feel and that is a hard thing to relax about.. anyway Did the cam come with software? if so maybe u can use that to "IMPORT" the media from the cam. Importing is best to actually get the video on your pc. Then u should be able to make your own dvd video with nero 7, Roxio 10, etc I really cant say if that cam can play and send data to a program that burns it all at the same time. Is best to do one at a time, you can ruin your footage if your pc locks up or something fails while in process. hopes this helps i gotta go bed, bed!
