What HD camcorder is a good one?

  • I'm looking for a reasonably priced HD camcorder that I can use to shoot video, still photos, use as a webcam, and hook an external microphone up to. Any suggestions? :-) Thanks.

I would go with a used camcorder. Brand new is great but they are much more, thus not reasonably priced. Check out Canon, specifically XH-A1 (built in mic though I believe you can get external) http://www.onequality.com/canon-xha1-hd-professional-camcorder-2-year-warranty-p-197.html or the Canon XL-H1 http://www.onequality.com/canon-xlh1-hd-professional-camcorder-p-243.html Sony is good too, the Sony HVR-A1U Professional HD Camcorder is cheaper yet and still good http://www.onequality.com/sony-hvra1u-professional-hd-camcorder-p-245.html Check those out, I believe those all would fit your needs great.
