Best-Reasonably Priced-HD Camcorder?

What camera should I have? will it be a DSLR camera? or an HD camcorder?

• what device should I use?... a DSLR camera? or an HD camcorder?.. I always want to have a DSLR camera because I edit photos using photoshop... I like DSLR camera's because the photos can be processed into "RAW IMAGE FILE" so I can edit the pixel colors easily... but I also want an HD Camcorder... I'm also a film maker.. I edit videos using Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects... the only decision I take is what product should I recommend? will it be a DSLR camera? or an HD camcorder?.. i'm confused since i love both of these devices and I know how to edit photos and videos... i just don't know what should I pick ='(.. by choosing one of these devices..it will change the entire of my interest XD.. so what will it be? if you choose a DSLR camera.. what camera should you recommend for me?... if you choose a HD camcorder what Camcorder you want to recommend for me?... XD...well I already have a camcorder but I want an HD camcorder for better results =P.... so... what should I pick?

  Don't pick. Don't compromise. Get both. Good still cameras take good stills and not so good video (and audio). Good video cameras take good video (and audio) and not so good stills.
