How to get HD Quality on YouTube?

How can I get better upload quality on YouTube with my JVC Everio?

  • My dad bought a JVC Everio and I was just messing around with it today and decided to test it's upload quality on YouTube. All I did was upload the video from the video camera on to my PC using the program that came with it, Everio MediaBrowser HD Edition, and then uploaded the video onto YouTube. The quality is pretty good but I would like to know if and how I can get it any better. Someone else on YouTube posted a test video with the exact same camera and I think his quality was a little better and would like to know how to get mine that good haha.     If you have a mac, use iMovie 08. If you have Windows, I would highly suggest that you get Sony Vegas.
