How can I make a clip from a video into a picture?

The easiest is to do a screen capture. In windows that means: 1. Open Paint (from Accessories in Start>All Programs) and then minimize it. 2. Play your clip in your player, such as Windows Media Player, Quick Time Player, etc. 3. Pause the video at the frame you like. 4. Press the "alt" key and the "prt scr" (just to the right of the F12 key) keys simultaneously. 5. Restore Paint as the active window and then under the edit heading select "Paste" 6. You will now have a digital photo of your favorite frame whose quality will depend on the quality of the original video you made. 7. Save the file as your choice of picture file (.jpg,.tiff, etc) 8. Trim the photo in any digital photo editor. This also works with the corresponding programs in Apple Operating System. If you own a video editor, then simply open the editor, import your video, and follow the help instructions for a frame capture.
