Is the Samsung SC-MX20 a good camcorder?

I had a problem with my samsung camcorder sc-d353 to my pc.?

  • ive download the driver from the samsung download support and installed it to my pc. after i installed the driver, it happens that when i open the camcorder on some programs that support video devices (ulead, nero, movie maker...) my pc restarting. By the way ive tried this a few a months ago when the cd driver was lost and i did the same procedure and it works. But now when i intended to do the same thing somethings got wrong. just like ive said the problem. Im just thinking that maybe the USB cord that im using is not compatible with the camcorder. i cant distinguish if this is the correct USB from this camcorder. But i dont think that reason. I just want to know what seems to be the problem. Thanks in advance! I just want to put my videos to my pc so that i can arrange it correctly.

    The SC-D353 is a MiniDV camcorder so you need to capture the video via firewire rather than USB - if your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.
