How to improve video quality?

• I got the kodak Playsport zx5 for christmas. Why are some clever ways to make more professional looking videos? How to shoot...??? Also if you know what a good computer for video editing would be and a good hd sd card type?

  Know some good camera angles, get a tripod to keep the camera still, look at other people's work and see what they do, look at proper films, also make the actual video something good. Make sure the angles suit the mood of the scene (e.g if a evil person come's through the door get a lower angle to make them look big and powerful). Know how to use the camera effects, don't go using blur techniques randomly if you don't know how to use them too well, I've seen people who have done too much blurring in and out. Just enjoy what your doing, don't go too over the top and don't make viewers bored by putting in really long shots of something that doesn't need to be there, I've done that myself. Hope this helped!
