How to fix a video camera?

When i connect my video camera to the HDMI cable on my HDTV it says no input. How to i fix this?

  • I recently hooked up a VCR to my HDTV through the AV input. Now when I connect my video camera to my HDTV through HDMI I get a no input message. How do I fix this without disconnecting the VCR on AV

  • Answer:

I assume your VCR is hooked to big HDTV through component hook ups, and I assume your hooking you camera up through a HDMI hook up on the back of your TV, not into your VCR. You do not say what make and model of camcorder you have so this just a guess. About all I can tell you is to make sure you have used the inputs screen of your TV to select the HDMI port the camcorder is in. You various HDMI ports, your Component port and any other inputs you have on that HDTV are all selectable from buttons on your remote, usually.
