Sony Bloggie Duo vs Sony Cybershot DSC- T99?

  • Ok, so I recently had a FlipCamera that had excellent HD quality. But...when I first received it, it wouldn't record. We fixed it by upgrading it on our computer, and all was well...for a bit. Then it started to not record the audio. This went on for a good 2-3 days. We called the company, and they said I would have to return it. It started working again a day or so later, but I'm just so done with this camcorder- I've only had it for four months! Anyways, I'm going to (hopefully) get my money back from Flip and replace the camcorder with a different company. I was looking at the Sony Bloggie Duo 4GB and Sony Cybershot DSC-T99 seriously. I like that both can record video and take still pictures. The Sony Bloggie Duo would be about $129.99 and the Cybershot would be $148.98 . I was wondering which one do you think would be better for me - a young YouTube blogger and one who is interested in filming and photography, but on a beginner level and on a budget. Thanks!!! =]

The Sony Duo Bloggie functions as both a camera and video recorder for purposes of creating You Tube videos. The camera is easy to use, although the zoom function has its limits and battery life is short (about 2 hrs for me). The ease of use, quality of the pictures, and portability are huge plusses. I am pleased with this acquisition.
