Is it LEGAL to record movies/tv by connecting aiptek hd camcorder to tv?
-
I recently got an aiptek hd video camera and by connecting it to a tv/dvd player, you can record movies and tv. It says this right on the box, so i assume it's legal. However, I want to record a movie and then put it onto my ipod, but i'm not sure if that's legal. Does anyone know?

Answer:
Uhh... Why should it be illegal?? It's your property. You're not stealing anything. You're just recording shows and movies. Live free, don't live to hard. Peace.

It is legal, the only way it wouldn't be legal is if you were to sell it or put the file on the internet to watch or to download, all things of that matter.
