What is a good cheap video camera for making YouTube videos?

  • My sister and I want to start making YouTube videos, but we're stuck at the first step. The camera. We don't have too much money. About $200 tops. But we want a good camera. Can anyone give us brand names, or specific cameras that will help us create good videos, kind of like Smosh. Thanks!

I've been having this same problem. You just need to do a LOT of research, trust me, you don't wanna end up buying the wrong camera. $200 isn't much but it can definitely buy you a decent camera. I also only have $200 to spend. Like I said, you really just need to do research. Full 1080p capability is what you should look for and like the other person said, 14-16 megapixel. You should also remember that just because it's the most expensive, doesn't mean it's the best. If you find one you like, look at the reviews. Usually reviews will help a lot in your decision.
