What is the better camcorder?? jvc digital video camera gr-fx16ek or Sony CCDTRV218 Camcorder Hi8 560x Digital?

  • i know nothing about these things, someone is trying to sell me a Sony CCDTRV218 Camcorder Hi8 560x Digital Zoom 2.5"Lcd for £90 and another lady is offering me jvc digital video camera gr-fx16ek for £45 and i dont mind paying more for the better camcorder but dont want to miss out on a bargain. can anyone help me please. thanks

    the better one is the Sony Hi8 , but I must say they are like grabbing second hand undies , they wont support you if something breaks , and they are already worn out with a skidmark up the back .. and your kinda still paying to much for crappy old stuff , when you can grab a card driven svp , new technological piece of crap that is high definition for that same kind of money

I bought Sony CCDTRV218 Camcorder Hi8 560x Digital 2 months ago. I find the performance quite superb considering the low cost. The video quality is execellent. However it lacks the ability to directly reansfer video to computer and with Palm DV camcorders which offer more than this and is quite low in cost.

seriously, neither one is worth more than 10 pounds. you would get better video from a P&S digital camera at 45 pounds.
