How to fix the ultra flip camcorder?

My camcorder is stuck, how can i fix it?

• i have a Zenith "Video Movie" VHS-C camcorder from about 1990 that i bought used. when i first bought it i found that it records and plays back just fine. the problem occurred when i tried to rewind the tape and it became stuck. while it was stuck three lights would flash (the lights for the play, stop and rewind buttons) and i could not eject the tape. not wanting to cause any damage to the camcorder, i removed the outside shell and manually extracted the tape by hand without damaging the camera. however, even though the tape was now removed, the camera still thinks the tape is inserted and tries to rewind again before again becoming stuck. this happens every time i power it on. any suggestions?

  I think there may happen some sort of technical fault inside your camera. Sometimes it may happen that for once your camera functionality stop working. But if you switch off the power and then again switch on it then the problem get solved. But in your case the camera still showing the same functionality. It is better to consult with the technician. We are not in the right position to tell you about the functionality of the camera.
