Video camera question?

  • Is there a camera out there that has everything that I need? I need either USB or Firwire port so I can connect it to my PC. I would prefer for it to be a hard drive camera. Or some kind of media that can actually record for longer than an hour like those damn dvd discs. A camera that has a good battery life at least 2 hours. And ofcourse good video quality. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I AM LOOKING FOR IS THAT THE CAMERA HAS A BUILT IN MICROPHONE JACK!!!!! It is so frustating that all these new cameras dont have that. I edit videos on my computer and the one I bought a few years ago didnt have a microphone jack and boy does the sound quality suck. I can not seem to find a camera that has 1. microphone jack, 2. Good media, 3. Good battery life, 4. good video quality. If anyone knows of a camera that has all these features for under $1000 please let me know. I may be willing to skimp out on some of the stuff like battery life and media but all else is a must. Thank you.
