My jvc gr-d33u wont upload the video on my camera?

i have video on the camera but it wont upload to the computer,i use the firewire cable,and it wont upload can someone help

Camcorder also plugged into the wall and the camcorder is in Play or VCR mode. Launch MovieMaker and "Capture" the video from the camcorder. If this does not work, try WinDV to import. Nothing will "pop up" automatically. Remember, firewire connects the DV port of the camcorder to the firewire port of the computer... USB streaming is highly compressed and not high quality like DV/firewire...
