  Rather than a specific car charge adapter for that camcorder, just get a power inverter... like http://shop1.frys.com/search?search_type=regular&sqxts=1&query_string=power+inverter&cat=&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 They can plug into the power outlet (formerly the cigaretter lighter) and let you plug in a normal AC plug. You do need to be careful to not get something under-rated for whatever you plug in, but a 150 watt unit would be fine... Just bring the AC power supply you would normally use to recharge when at home. I use one for my cell phone and have not purchased a "car adapter" for any of my cell phones for years. And I have plugged my laptop into it... and my Sony camcorder... though not all at the same time - that could be bad.
