How to use a SONY Digital Handycam?

How to use .VOB files in window movie maker? or use them? Sony handycam?

  • i have a sony handy cam, with RW CD's, in it, and i finalized the cd, put it in my computer, window media player cant play them, i need to get each scene sperate, but under computer i click the cd, it opens media player, when chapters etc, how can i get every different scene video, and edit them to make one big one on windows movie maker?

I do what Rugratzz does when I have to edit a friend's VOB files made with her Sony Handycam. If the version of Movie Maker you're using can't use mpg files, convert to WMV files. One of the few converters that doesn't try to add toolbars and search engines (at least it didn't when I installed it in December) is iWisoft. Freemake is a good converter but you have to UNcheck everything on the first installation page. http://www.iwisoft.com/videoconverter/ http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/
