Is it illegal to download youtube video for personal use only?

Help, what screen recording software do i want to use to download a video from my pc to youtube?

  • Okay, i want to make a Youtube video, and i would like to use a free screen recorder for my computer to film myself playing minecraft, a game in which millions of people play, and i see millions of videos on youtube about it... I tried a few things, such as screen recorder gold, and when i went to upload it to youtube, it said failed to convert video... after 2 hours of waiting! I would like some kind of free program where i can simply film myself playing my game, and then upload it to youtube. I have a dell computer, and i have windows. Please help. Give me some free names of things i can use. and a quick walkthrough of how i can do this and such would be great. thanks

To record a game in high quality, you have to use DirectX/OpenGL hooking program like Bandicam or Fraps. I prefer to use Bandicam because it's easy to use, and much less lag than Fraps. Also, you can upload the recorded file to YouTube without converting because the recorded file is much smaller than Fraps (1/20). for examples) - Fraps: 300MB - Bandicam: 15~25MB

Wow, got to love ad bots.... Anyway, what you need to do is get a really good screen recorder. I would recommend PlayClaw. http://www.playclaw.com/ So, now to upload (Upload is putting on the net, downloading is to the PC). Sign up for a free YouTube account. Then click on the Upload link. Then it is obvious.
