all professional action sports video is originated on miniDV format. the most common pro cameras for doing that are the Sony DCR VX2000 and the Canon XL1 which are only available used. Expect to pay about $1000 for either in good condition.

Go look For a camera with a high fps (frames per second) rate. then u can watch smooth slowmotion. 1000fps would be perfect but it is a bit pricey.
