Where can I find a free video editing software that is good?

Where can I find the video editing software that comes bundled with the Hitachi DZ-MV380A?

• Before anyone tells me to RTFM, please note: I have. The manual says load the files from the CD that came with the camera. I bought this camcorder at a yard sale, and the seller had no disc with it. I was lucky to find a USB cable that works -- that didn't come with the cam either. Also, please don't refer me to the hitachi website. It's worthless. All downloads available are updates, not the full drivers. What I need is a link to download the file "moviealbum se 3" no one seems to have it any more. I'd take a more current version if I could find it, but I can update from Hitachi's site with v.3. PLEASE HELP!!!

  You really don't need that software or a usb cable. This is a minidvd camcorder and you can use any editing software once you finalize and convert the video. MINIDVD If you have a mini dvd camcorder…. You will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (I downloaded http://www.squared5.com file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Usually you would import your videos and drop them in to the timeline, add transitions, menus, music, etc. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.
