What are some possible uses for a video camera?

Does anyone know the type video camera that survivorman uses?

well, it doesnt matter really what camera so long as it has good pixels and zom and fast and everything, but so long as its metal not plastic, my aunt gave me her old camera which she used to take on her tour of south america, which she dropped about 12 ft onto a rock and it works fine with only a small dent. (dunno if you can get it any more but my camera is a canon powershot S45, its quite old now i think about 3-4 years anyway good luck)
