Can I use my digital camera as a PC camera?

What can I use to connect my 8 mm cassette video camera to my PC?

• I have a video camera from the late 90s. It uses 8 mm cassettes. What can I specifically use to connect, play, and convert it to DVD format via my PC?

  There are quite a number of ways you can do it . You could use an analogue capture card in your PC and connect the yellow/(red)/white RCA connections from your camcorder to it and capture direct as mpeg using a programme like Ulead VideoStudio.
