How to edit certain film?

How can i edit film thats on a tape, Video camera question?

  • i have a video camera have no clue what type cuz i dont have it atm. but it records to a small video tape and the only thing i can think of it have like the video output like video games the red yellow and white plug in. like if i recorded something how could i get that on my computer to make a better edited video

Does it have red, white, and yellow output jacks (like the inputs you described) on it? If so, maybe a tv/video capture card that handles that source of signal, in your computer, could be your answer. If you get it back, try googling the model number, then see whether there's a forum that might be able to help you better, with some technical info :-)
