How can I use my video camera as a web camera? It's a sony hdd camera...?

its a new camera I just bought this past february...I am pretty sure you can use it like a webcam because I have seen others use theirs, where would I go to do that?

Answer:
You can't. But you can.... I tried to solve this problem a number of times. However, there is a software program here... http://www.orangeware.com/endusers/webcamdv.html It will solve your problem, but you need to buy it, to remove their Trial-Period watermark. Oh, and you still need a microphone, plugged into the PC. In most cases, the Camcorder microphone will not be recognized.
