How do I transfer my video file from video-camera to my computer for editing?

  • I'm using my Sony video-camera (DVD) and would like to transfer to my computer for video editing. How do I do it? Please share your expertise.

  • Answer:

If it's a DVD camera you should be able to finalise the disk in the camera and then read it with your PC's DVD drive. Sony's Vegas Movie Studio is a good choice for editing, though there are many others.

Other answers

you need to buy a cord that plugs into your camera and computer, you must also need video editing software (adobe premier is good). I've had trouble in the past with the software recognizing the camera so that might be a problem.

Depends on the camera. Some will plug directly into a USB port or FireWire port, and others require you to plug into a TV tuner card of some sort. Once you plug it in, you need some video editing software like Windows Movie Maker if it's a Windows PC.

Grub

nothing to do any comlex form of work Buy cheapest bluetooth and you will be able to transfer anything from mobile to pc and vice versa have a nice day
