Which Flip camcorder is better?

Which is better, a flip camera or an actual camcorder?

• I"m trying to find a cheap HD camera for making videos, but 90% of my findings are flip camcorders, you know the ones that are very tiny and portable. I don't really trust these kinds of camcorders, and prefer the ones that you actually have to get a case for. nothing big and fancy, but nothing completely tiny, the ones where you have to put your hand through a little grip on the side to hold it. What's the difference?

  Well the flip cameras are cheaper because they aren't of good quality. The picture/video is often very fuzzy on the flip cameras, and they are made with cheaper materials. These are not a smart purchase in my opinion. The camcorders that you want (the ones where you have to put your hand through the grip on the side of it to hold it) are more expensive because they are of good quality and operate well. Basically you can buy a flip camera for a cheap price, but get bad videos, or you could shell out a bit more money for a camcorder and get videos of good quality. Hope this helps!
