What is the highest Frame Per Second ever recorded?

29 frame per second to 24 frame per second?

• I had recorded in my digicam (panasonic tm770k) in digital cinema mode which was supposed to give me videos at 24 frames per second. But for some reason the videos are all 29 frames per second. I need to convert these videos from .mts to .mp4 for some editing purpose for which I was using MediaCoder which is giving me the videos at 59 frames per second. Is there a way to get 24p frame rate for the videos.

  In editing, the input does not really matter unless the format is unsupported by the editor. In a setting up your sequence/timeline, you will set the desired output OR the input format with the largest frame-size. In your case, you will set the sequence to HD or whatever gave you the 24 fps rate. Then you can input clips from anything, cell phone, MiniDv tape (standard def), MOV, AVI, and H.264 as well as stills from JPEG, TIFF or other formats. THEN, after editing, you will output all these clips to a single file format with appropriate attributes you choose. This goes all wonky of you are using a free editor that can't deal with one or more file formats. 59 fps is FIELDS per second and is the same as 29.97 FRAMES per second (60fps/30FPS and 50 fps/25Fps each have the same relationship)
