What is the best free program to convert camcorder video files to a type uploadable to Youtube?

  • Right now when I try and play/upload a video that I've downloaded from my camcorder, the sound plays but not the picture. So uploading to Youtube would be useless. Is there an easy program that I can use to convert the file into something usable?
